Moderated by Randy Gue, Emory University

The Sun ATL • 399 Edgewood Avenue SE, Atlanta, GA 30312
Join us for an intimate conversation about Resist - Red, White and Blue, a powerful triptych collaboration by Kosmo Vinyl and Vyvyan Hughes - the first time these two artists have worked together. The assemblage by Kosmo, featuring neon by Vyvyan, hangs prominently in our front window facing historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, just yards from Dr. King's spiritual home.
Kosmo Vinyl served as co-manager and spokesperson for The Clash, where he designed their iconic "Know Your Rights" logo. No stranger to protest art, his work continues to challenge and provoke.
Vyvyan Hughes is project manager at The Neon Company, one of the last remaining neon fabrication studios in the country, having worked on productions from Stranger Things to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Randy Gue, curator of modern political and historical collections at Emory's Rose Library, has built nationally recognized collections documenting punk rock and DIY culture.
Free and open to the public. The gallery opens at 1 PM.
