From May 22 - August 16, The Sun ATL presents a landmark exhibition featuring photographers Jim Alexander and Sue Ross documenting five decades of Black musical excellence. Alexander - celebrating his 90th birthday in August, and mentored by Gordon Parks - and Ross have captured pivotal moments in Atlanta's musical history. Their work reveals the profound connection between Black music and cultural resilience.
